Every New Years Day, my wife and I watch a movie marathon of a series. Generally, they are all of the same movie series. Today has the dubious honour of being the Transformers series of live action movies. I'll be putting in my thoughts in this thread.

My new thing to do is instead of getting people to define "woke" to make them look stupid is to instead say "woke is not a bad thing" and then define it myself. Then the anti-woke crowd needs to justify why it is bad when I have already defined it.

Reminder to those who need it - you don't need to impress everyone all the time. Spend as much time as you need being a loaf, so you can get the energy once again to be your best self.

Since it is the thing to do now, Bluesky should adopt a new logo. Maybe offer to buy this one from Paradox.

The worst type of politician is the one whose only promises involve hurting people. They get away with so much corruption due to them having a free pass from their fans.

The second worst type is the "At least I'm not that person" - the leader of a (the) second party who is only 95% as bad.

Social media is bad for the brain, but I still keep coming back to it. Trying again with a hopefully cleaner slate on this site.
