Shoutout to my mom, who made the best chilaquiles I’ve ever had, on my first Mother’s Day in 2023. I don’t remember where the chips were from, maybe leftovers from a restaurant, but the tomatillo salsa was homemade with epazote. Top five meals of my life, no question.

Two things I didn’t expect to see walking into work today: a potato and a ginkgo leaf. There are no ginkgo trees anywhere nearby. And as far as I know, no potato vendors either.
