The thing about the Verbinski is the stuff that makes it relatively exceptional also mostly annoyed me. As maybe the sole remaining fan of THE MEXICAN, it's nice to have him back.

In my Mad Men rewatch I got to the episode Lynn Shelton directed and I just want to say she was my friend and I miss seeing her at Scarecrow. She would text about playing Words With Friends with the cast.

Rewatching Mad Men for only the first time since it aired. Obviously a pantheon show and even richer on a second pass, but honestly my favorite part is how Roger calls him "Teddy Chow-guh-guh." Also fuck Pete.

I have now heard at least two other stories about these guys not paying up on time.
A cool blu-ray label is making me jump through so many hoops to get paid I have turned into a seal and will no longer be able to type any essays.

Splurged on a Mini PC specifically for watching screeners so I don't have to keep connecting and disconnecting my laptop to the TV all the dang time, and I feel really good about this choice.

My lukewarm take on this is that it's interesting how someone can now to go in to Star Wars essentially cold and not really understand the clear starting point because there's so much extraneous slop. Is this proof that it's ruined forever or just that it's a relic?

Should have expected but was still very bored by the big twist on last night's Seven Kingdoms. I was enjoying this little story, hopefully it's not gonna turn into another dumb Game of Thrones thing.

Because I have free and unfettered access to Scarecrow I pretty much never buy stuff. My physical media collection is paltry by cinephile standards. But I did just cough up for the Arrow HARD BOILED and EXCALIBUR. Had to do it.
