Are politicians from outside Minnesota speaking up about this? Like say, neighboring states? A neighbor directly to the south?
Nasra Ahmed, a 23-year-old US citizen, was arrested and detained by ICE. She was held for TWO DAYS.
ICE agents handcuffed her, called her a racial slur, and she was knocked to the ground so hard she got a concussion.
This cannot continue happening. ICE needs to leave.

I would argue that the case for dismantling ICE has, at this point, virtually nothing to do with larger questions of immigration enforcement and reform, it's just clearly incompatible with a free and democratic society to maintain a secret police force with sweeping and arbitrary authority.
Senator Gallego weighs in as well. Note that at the start of 2025 he was considered a *moderate* on immigration and co-sponsored the Laken Riley Act. Him and many other Dems have been increasingly horrified at what ICE is doing and shifted away from a "more enforcement" focus.

I really do not react well to bullying and never have. I am probably on some list now or can’t fly anymore. There was this guy just taking picture after picture of me. Can you imagine just going to a gas station and a gman is there just up in your face taking pictures of you to put in some database?
