Every 3 weeks since 2015 I've been waking up and seeing people saying DJT is finally cooked and every time it sort of feels like it is possible.

But all the wrong people have power and it will continue like this until that actually changes.

That won't happen by saying the right things online.

Just because we did something yesterday doesn't mean we have to do it today.

Don't allow yourself to become a prisoner of blind tradition and outdated rituals--like having a country.

It's cool that like a month ago I had a rich vibrant life outside of work but now the sun sets at 4pm and I feel like I could sleep for 76 hours straight

Just woke up, has the Dem leadership avoided learning any lessons yet?

In a shocking turn of events, sure to revolutionize the way we think of politics, it has been discovered that many Americans prefer to eat meals and live indoors without going into massive debt.

More on why this is actually bad, coming up at the top of the hour--

We're definitely gonna get some unironic Liberal "I didn't agree with him but he was a class act, unlike politicians on the Right today" takes about this war criminal who was instrumental in delivering us to this state of affairs while ruining millions of live. So that will be fun.

I used to vote in every election out of a sense of civil obligation.

Now I vote in every election with the spirit of someone trying to take advantage of a novel seasonal promotion before it goes away forever.

Socialism will inevitably fail on its on because it is a flawed system which is why we have to impose sanctions, orchestrate coups, stamp out leftist groups in their infancy, generate huge amounts of propaganda and make it impossible to get a foothold--to save socialists the embarrassment.

I think the culture of impunity among our elite is one of the great rots at the core of our society but if it's gonna be this way I'm glad George Santos got pardoned because he's such a funny lil guy

I keep thinking about the millions of Americans who don't follow politics (or at least don't follow it obsessively like me because my brain is broken) and what their perception is of what is going on. Do they sense a crisis? Do they notice differences? Does any news coverage get their attention?

I live somewhere with a lot of Mormon missionaries. I also live somewhere with a lot of Fentanyl addicts. So when I encounter missionaries, I always ask them if they carry Narcan and encourage them to do so.

Even now, with things as dire as they are, with authoritarianism on the rise and ecological devastation reaching untold levels, there is a librarian in your town who just wants to hook you the fuck up.

Seeing a lot of takes like "If this was a real autocracy you wouldn't be able to protest," which I guess is why you should wait until full totalitarianism has made dissent impossible and organize then.

One good thing about the internet is that even though I’m not a kid anymore I can still get exposed to cool new music, spend months devouring a body of work, then read some articles about how the artist whose work I’m emotionally bonded to is a sex pest or some other kind of detestable monster.
