Been a while since I posted because my father has been diagnosed with leukemia and life has been entirely too chaotic. A little light was the fact that my wife loves the large Dr. Who tile I made her. She's going to use it as a tea and biscuit coaster.

My father an his two housemates (a pair of young queer people who moved to California for a better life) got an eviction notice (nice timing, right?) and need help paying for a deposit and such to rent a new place. Please consider donating. gofund.me/f86ae004

Just edited Red Right Hand, a forthcoming (and immensely cool) adventure for The Wildsea RPG. I've also decided to finish off the last few odds and ends of Against Darkness Triumphant.

Just finished copy editing 50k of the forthcoming Cottages & Cerebus TTRPG, and the Random Encounter Charts PDF for the Land of Eem TTRPG. It helps keep me (mostly) out of mischief.

Well, that was unexpected. A minor existing RPG property I've always admired has just opened up for me to work on, allowing me to scratch a creative itch I've wanted to tackle for a long time. *cracks knuckles*

What TTRPGs do I currently keep at the top of my pile?
Atomic Robo
Avatar Legends
Between Clouds
Hard Wired Island
Land of Eem
Lords of Gossamer & Shadow
Salvage Union
The Wildsea
Travel and exploration are major themes, as is found family, and fighting injustice and corrupt corps/governments.

I'm a picky sod about TTRPGs, having tried untold dozens of games. I know what works for me. Low-to-mid complexity (leaning strongly to the former), specific support for Theatre of the Mind play, must not be grimdark, must be inclusive. Not keen on games that romanticise monarchy either.

An adventuring party, Land of Eem TTRPG style!

The migration of my hair is complete. Hair on my head? Zero, just a shiny smooth scalp. Hair on my lower face? Significant, soft, salt-and-pepper.

"cottagecore" is what drew me to the forthcoming Cottages & Cerebus TTRPG. It's all about building a cozy cottage, enjoying life, and brutal monster hunting. The juxtaposition is delicious. I am biased though as I'm giving them a hand with editing.

What are some of my current TTRPG loves? Head over heels for The Land of Eem (quirky, kid-friendly fantasy but not childish), The Wildsea (so creative, so gorgeous), and Between Clouds (travel, explore, a beautiful LGBTQ+ positive game). Fair warning, I've helped out with all of them though.

Looking at this website, it makes me realise that a) it's woefully incomplete and out-of-date, and b) I've been doing this for far too long. www.legrog.org/biographies/...
