genuinely shocked that i simply do not think polin holds the same buzz for me anymore (like i didn’t think it would ever happen) and i completely blame it on feeling like fandom pushed me out.
that and finding a new show/ship to be brainrot about, that doesn’t help.

i know all my oomfs disagree and i get it but book colin and book polin and book penelope are still better TO ME. like more important and special and just resonate more to me. the show versions all have their moments and in some ways are better but overall i just prefer polin in the books.

anyway kingdon is a ship based off crumbs and delusions and inspires way more romantic notions and narrative intrigue to me now so 💚

actually you know what, i’m pretending these exist. like the colin/michaela friendship, the franniecolin alliance is show canon. didn’t you guys love how in ep 4 franniecolin talked about how love is kindness & friendship & understanding & how their love stories don’t follow their siblings’ paths?
whatever you do don’t think about how we could’ve had seasonly colin-francesca scenes like the ben/el swing scenes 😭😭😭😭😭 even just starting in s3 we could’ve had them be a thing until fran’s season 😞 or s7 when franmich navigate the aftermath of their season and colin’s there to listen to frannie 🥺😭
