Trump's tariffs on Canada and Mexico have begun.

Canada is fighting back -- but Trudeau's retaliation should just be the start. Why not put 100% tariffs on all Elon Musk products and cancel Starlink deals?

Join the call to the Canadian government to make Elon pay:

Canada: 100% tariffs on all Elon Musk products now!
Trump has launched an unprecedented trade war on Canada. Tariffs are his economic weapon of choice, for now, but he’s also ramping up talk of annexation, saying without support from the US “Canada cea

RIP Donald Shoup one of the most influential urban experts who changed many cities for the better. He certainly changed how I look at parking. His book 'The High Cost of Free Parking' was a game changer.

Sure glad I didn't vote for Convoy Qatari Ken...
Ken Sim has some strange connections to shady businesses, which I've documented before, but I wasn't expecting last week's announcement of a Vancouver Bitcoin Reserve to be tied to a crypto-advocate who funded the convoy.

Buckle up.

If passed, this is a huge step backwards. Why can this council not look to the future? I'm seriously looking at changing my gas stove to an induction one due to environmental and health impacts.
This Tuesday, council votes on whether to go back to allowing natural gas for heating buildings in Vancouver. I want to take a look at the stated reasons behind this move, and assess their accuracy. A bit of a long thread but an important one... 🧵

There are millions and millions who haven't and most are better qualified too.
You know, there are people who haven't committed sex crimes Trump could nominate for the cabinet. It's like Trump belongs to a rapist club and wants to give everyone in it a job.

The economic benefits are highly misunderstood by those who should know better. As well, many businesses have no clue how their customers arrive. If they knew, they'd generally love bike lanes.
This is important.

Years ago, while I was advising the City of Sydney Australia on various things, there was an INFAMOUS day where a particularly bad state-level minister of roads was stuck in traffic and saw bike riders zooming by his limousine in a well-used, safe, protected bike-lane.

Well…

Many of us have known this for years. It is a win/win for everyone. Sadly, many people don't understand this, so see it as a lose. It is not a zero sum game.
