songs in maimai sound SO different ingame compared to the ost releases just because ingame you have to deal with loud ass CLAPCALCPACLAPCLACPACLCPALCPAC else you'll lose time pretty easy thanks to the nature of the game so hearing the OST mix of many songs is like. wtf. this is completely new. what

started reading umineko. the big one. the one and only.
i'm ~5 hours in so far and even though its majority exposition its all fantastic, i cannot WAIT for things to truly start going down but i'm relishing in these cute slice of life scenes and moments of interpersonal tension before things explode

i think its time for me to get around to playing this... seeing how fantastic overworks is with sakura wars 3/4 i really should give it a whirl even if i'm not too experienced in Real JRPGs. i heard the encounter rate on the DC ver is absurd but i really want to play it on DC over GC for the charm

i really need to scoop up one of the japanese retro PCs at some point. they're all quite expensive so i'll need to save for a bit but owning a PC-98 or X68000 or FM towns and being able to give their libraries a go would be SO neat, the computers have such a unique niche

playing ninja gaiden 2 when im pretty historically bad at 3d character action games is actually so fun even though the game is kicking my ass 40 times over. ive only made it to stage 3 its a miracle ive gotten this far even on normal mode
