My experience suggests that Kim may well have spent more than $143,169 on anti-unionization consultants and union-busting law firms. Do you know what Littler charges per hour? This is maybe a few weeks' work for them, at most.
Restaurateurs complain it’s a tough biz then go for the “snort cocaine & ride a motorcycle out of a helicopter” — or in Ann Kim’s case, “buying an Uptown building then spending big bucks to union bust at my failed concept while telling my successful place’s landlord I don’t have time to arbitrate”
