I refuse to call that college football game in Arlington the "Cotton Bowl" because the Cotton Bowl is a stadium in Fair Park. And nobody ever talks about the fact it hasn't been used for a bowl game since 2019. Which, after a $140M makeover, is just embarrassing.

Biking home, I almost ran into a guy biking w no lights or reflective gear. I stopped, gave him some. He said he'd recently returned from incarceration, didn't have money, bike was his only transportation.

not too late for a flu shot btw, flu historically often peaks in february and by all accounts it is pretty bad this year
Flu deaths exceeded COVID deaths last winter and we may be on track for the same thing this year!
