Given that you can describe the context in good detail and offer examples where applicable, you can refactor/terraform(not the IAC thing) entire codebases and multi-repo setups via Agents.

These tools are amazing for refactors. Here's a great use case for Claude Code.

I have a microservices template repository where boilerplate and example setups are done.

In a full-example branch of the same repo, I have a more elaborate version which I worked recently. I evolved certain things 🧵

Now that the code is ready, it's time to bring in Claude Code to sweep and mop the floor with some nice refactorings backed by the sweet tests I got in place.

It's been a few days of completely AI unassisted coding sessions... Largely due to the nature of the problem in hand, not due to unwillingness mind you.

A few years ago, Data Scientist was supposed to be one of the most sought after profession for the future. In my mind, it would become one of the first professions to be hit by AI. I wonder if that’s part of the effect here.

Twitter accounts are based in Russia. BlueSky accounts are based in homes with, frankly, too many books, plants, obsolete cables, and pieces of rustic pottery, that could do with a bit of a tidying up, to be honest.

This string of articles scratches my itch well.

I lived as a teenager during that period and vividly remember the shock and awe Crash Bandicoot caused when coming out.

These were the times to experience the evolution of an entire industry from its very beginnings.

Saved for the weekend.

Finally I got the nservicebus service testing harness to work and be capable of supporting parallel integration tests with multi endpoint support that run in memory.

This along with reqnroll and xunit will be a major addition to the test strategy of the teams.

Somedays, I wish I saved some code snippets from like a decade ago. I find myself re-inventing the wheel to accomplish problems I solved many years ago. And no, AI is of very limited use I realize for complex problems, as expected.

The definition of asymmetric war.

When, as a nation, you put education and critical thinking for the masses on the back burner, you create an Achilles Heel that your enemies will try to exploit.
