@coachhectico.bsky.social
Self-proclaimed funnyman with a keyboard and a chat window. I play games, make jokes, read too much, and fall in love with fictional women. It's a whole thing.
So about a month ago I got my first ereader. It is a Kobo Clara Color and damn it, I’m in love. I have read significantly more than I ever expected to just because of the convenience of being able to take it everywhere. I might still buy physical copies of 5 star reads but man, this is neat!

I was out of the loop. I’m 92% done with @tracydeonn.bsky.social ‘s Oathbound and I was like “Man, there’s a lot to address before I finish this journey” I was not aware we were getting a book 4. This also makes sense because I was like how are we gonna tackle all these points in like 4 chapters?

Never in my child or adult life did I think for one second that my biggest gaming problem would be having too many games. My backlog is so deep I don’t know what to do. And being the dork that I am a crap load are JRPGs so you know… 100 hour games aren’t easy to clear from the backlog

I don’t normally like beaches but man, Daytona, it was a nice time. Buc-ee’s is the greatest place ever and I really loved the views I got to see. Nothing like reading on your #Kobo and watching the sunrise.

Hulk Hogan getting booed out of the arena is the funniest and most deserved thing I've seen in ages.

Body dysmorphia is a bitch and a half. I've lost over 120 pounds and I've seen candid photos taken of me... I know I've lost weight. A shit ton, but whenever I undress to take a shower, whenever I get a good look at myself.. I still see that 370 pound behemoth.. I don't see me, I can't see me.

I'm finding it very hard to motivate myself to do work this week knowing I have a four day weekend next week. It's like preemptive laziness.

One very beautiful thing about booktok is that people have come to enjoy reading on a mainstream scale. I also got back into reading because of the explosion of literature on TikTok. Thrilled to see BN doing well. It was one of my favorite jobs; never once called in sick there.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard not being nominated for GOTY is crazy to me. It had a late release, sure, but that has been one of the most enjoyable experiences I have had in years.

open world games taught me that I’d rather pick flowers for 80 hours than finish anything important.
