I bought my Tesla in 2019, and even though my bumper sticker says “I bought this before I knew Elon was crazy” — it just isn’t enough. So I’m going to sell it and buy a new EV from a company not owned by a Nazi. My short list is:

Right now, there’s a batch of cookies on my kitchen counter. I had one yesterday, another today, and I plan on eating one probably every day. I’m not telling myself I can *only* have one though, instead I *get* to have one!

Learning to tell yourself ‘no’ is a practiced skill. It get easier each time you do it.

But ‘no’ doesn’t also mean ‘never’—it just means ‘not right now’ — that’s the difference between restriction vs. restraint.
