HOLY SHIT. Yes everybody in the wider yuri-sphere was hyping this movie since last week...did not prepare me for how much I cheered and cried and died from the yearning. I'm gonna have to re-watch at least two or three more times to truly settle in and figure out where this ranks

I think this is likely because there are a LOT of accounts which use the flag in their name and are spam donation solicitation accounts. In turn automated detection algorithms are gonna flag the flag as an indicator of spam...which is why I'm curious about whether or not he appealed and that result.
palestinian journalist posting on twitter that his bluesky account was immediately taken down purely because he was in gaza. all palestinian accounts are assumed to be spam.

BlueSky is one of the worst platforms I have ever dealt with. Within seconds of creating a second account, after my first one was shut down just two days after it was created, my account was closed again. This happened despite the fact that I hadn’t posted anything or followed anyone. I was only in the process of adding a profile photo, yet I received an email claiming that my account was “spam” and that it was “causing harm.” What kind of logic is this?
The painful truth is that the account was shut down the moment it became clear it was created from inside Gaza. It seems we are no longer allowed to write or speak about what is happening to us here. They are not afraid of content itself, but of our voices and the reality we carry with us.
Millions are spent to silence these voices and to erase the truth. I am exhausted by this platform and by how our photos and videos, which document real suffering, are treated as “violations of community standards,” as if pain itself has become a crime.
What is happening is not simple moderation or policy enforcement. It is an attempt to erase our existence and bury the truth. And honestly, this is shameful and unbearably painful.

while us cultural hegemony has no doubt influenced the globe, i think a more internationalized multicultural world as opposed to intl. us cultural hegemony is probably going to be a more productive one in terms of artistic creation, including the art made in the us as well

We have Chicken's here at my place, not a flock but just a half dozen just backyard layers. Chicken's are dirty as hell and WILL get lice/worms/etc...so get a bit of ivermectin and a quick rinse then they are good to go. Its wonderful and yet that isn't what its known for.
