😌 Relieved to see that Europe continues to choose #science, and with it, #openness, #reason, and #progress. In a world where some major powers like the USA under Trump seem to head in the opposite direction, this brings a sense of hope
We will put forward a 500 million package for 2025-2027 to make Europe a magnet for researchers.
As well as ambitious proposals for R&I in the next EU budget.

Nature Reviews Neurology, Published online: 31 March 2025; doi:10.1038/s41582-025-01072-zNear-death experiences (NDEs) are episodes of disconnected consciousness that typically occur in actual or perceived life-threatening situations. This Review discusses the mechanisms that might underlie the rich conscious experience in NDEs and proposes a model that encompasses a cascade of concomitant psychological and neurophysiological processes within an evolutionary framework.
