Sent my book off to beta readers. Both backed out on me. Had to post on my alum Discord to see if anyone read romance. Found a professional editor. She sends back not only amazing suggestions, but a spreadsheet/chart, compares it to multiple craft books, and blew my mind! Talk about a win!! #writing

Organizing my spreadsheet for all the agents I'll be querying is going surprisingly well. Getting those queries out there might break me, but that's a problem for another day.😜

Today's December Comfort Watch: The 2005 version of Pride and Prejudice. Do I think it's better than the beloved 1995 miniseries version? No. But the choices made in this adaptation speak better to me as a viewer. Come learn why at the link:

Now that the book is written, I get the (fun) job of adding more words and chapters to it to reach the required word count range, before doing the (terrible) job of editing it.
