My biggest creative accomplishment of 2025 was publishing my second book: a collection of micropoetry compiled to read like one big fever dream. It started as a challenge with myself to see just how short a short story can be. The process was an absolute blast. 🩵

Also testing out Ecosia as my default search engine since they plant trees and don't use AI as the default.

Just learned that you can search without using AI if you add -ai to the search request. Dumb that I need a workaround where there should be an option to opt out, but good information to know anyway.

To combat the rising cost of literally everything, I started cutting my own hair a year or so ago. Lemme tell you. Nothing makes you more keenly aware of your own aging like seeing more greys in the sink after every bimonthly sheering.

Reminded myself I’m an artist, and appeasing social media algorithms for eyes on your work is pointless if it’s not leading you to draw things you actually care about. I only care if people see my art so they can experience it, and I don’t need to spend my energy on elaborate strategies for that
