Even if she did step down the Republicans were never going to let go control of the Supreme Court. It’s why they held up Merrick Garland’s nomination for a year. All this anger at RBG is misdirected.
Everyday that mural of RBG on U st becomes even more embarrassing

They’re so focused on Clyburn’s seat while Nancy Mace is right there. People like Hogg will never beat the allegations with me. He shouldn’t be Vice Chair.
Whether or not Jim Clyburn gives up his seat isn't up to some loud and wrong white kid who lives in Florida. Its up to the voters in Clyburn's South Carolina district and no one else.
Rep. Jim Clyburn told reporters last week that giving up his House seat would mean giving up his life. DNC vice chair David Hogg criticized that sentiment Friday, arguing that the decision is up to constituents, not representatives like SC's sole House Dem.

Why did he expect to get that off as a sitting chair? And if he views the role as ceremonial why did he accept it? Could have had someone serious in there even if it was another younger person.

Federal assistance for me but not for thee. It’s their stance on everything they claim to be against.

I’ve been over these stories since Trump’s first term. Trump is always willing to lie for their support and they willingly give him the benefit of the doubt. They would be giving us these same sob stories under a 3rd Trump term yet was screaming Let’s go Brandon year one of Biden’s term.
Boo fucking hoo.

Make a huge mistake. Then make a false claim about how you fixed it.

They did it for PEPFAR.

Now Ebola.

I follow this particular topic VERY closely, so here's what really happened and why this isn't true AT ALL...🧵
Elon Musk: "We will make mistakes. We won't be perfect ... so for example, with USAID, one of the things we accidentally canceled very briefly was ebola prevention."

So Puppet Trump is talking about tariffs on prescriptions. Stupid. That’ll raise your prices unlike anything you’ve seen before. Obviously, big pharma, his owner, wants this so they can rip you off with no competition. He’s easily manipulated, and *your* wallet pays the price!

?? It’s no mystery where the money goes; this has been asked and answered.

70-75% of US spending is on Social Security, Medicare/Medicaid, Pentagon and veterans + interest on the debt.

Foreign aid is 1% of the budget.

You can read this in a CBO or OMB report! Easily available.

Donald Trump trying to blame DEI and Biden for the American Airlines and Black Hawk helicopter crash is not only predictable, but it's disgusting.

He's the one who has made one horrible decision after the other to make flying less safe.

we have a president with a tenuous grip on small legislative majorities who is out of the gate with a flurry of dramatically unpopular orders and who has just demonstrated his weakness on the international stage. if i were an elected member of his domestic opposition, i might try to draw real blood.

His contemptuous, loyalty-testing Cabinet nominations are you need to know about how Trump plans to "govern"--performative politics, revenge instead of policies, division instead of uniting--4 years (if not many more) of spectacle, symbolic actions & rhetoric instead of solving America's problems.

It’s so annoying bc it’s like why not just go be an actual strategist? Stop misinforming voters.
So much prestigious political “reporting” is just journalists cosplaying as political strategists

What has more impact, This man speaking his mind or the Dems speaking “in unison “ ?

It says a lot that trump spoke more harshly about a woman of the church, Bishop Mariann Budde, who asked him kindly to "have mercy," than he has EVER spoken about a murderous dictator like Vladimir Putin.

Fucking coward.
