Jon Stewart is a smart/funny/important comedian, but I am not sure that I want/need him, again, represent the progressive movement. It isn't 07' anymore, the mugging and jokes trivalizes the stakes, it feels flat and Stewart feels abliged to be critical of the left as evidence of his crediability?
