Visited a cancer clinic today. Saw a woman on chemo, with the husband reading to her during infusion. Moved and sad at the same time.

The saga of data issues in Chinese clinical trials continues...
While NMPA works on their internal audit, I found more instances of data discrepancies that are hard to attribute to "editorial errors", as NMPA claimed in response to my previous posts. This gets technical but bear with me.

Bought some Aritzia sweatpants while traveling in Canada. Fit me well. Only today after reading a WSJ article found out that the brand is mostly for young women. No wonder the sales girl was looking at me funny. Now embarrassed and not sure whether should keep wearing them.

The jacket in this suit works very well for me, though not sure about the pants. Can it be worn as a blazer? Seems iffy based on your posts before. If I have to do that, what pant color/fabric would you prefer? Thanks in advance.

US leadership in the funding of medical research is something we as taxpayers can be proud of. At a simpler, economic-only, level it is just an incredible return on investment.
“NIH produces an astounding return on investment to the American taxpayer. In Fiscal Year 2022, NIH research funding supported 568,585 jobs and generated $96.84 billion in economic activity — that’s $2.64 of economic activity for every $1 of research funding.”

Research supported by NIH has led more than 100 Nobel Prizes and has supported more than 99% of drugs approved by federal regulators from 2010 to 2019.
But come January, NIH may face a wrecking ball
