Help me, #chemsky, you're my only hope.

Years ago, on the other place, some people posted gorgeous before-and-after pictures of actionoid organometallic crystals showing rapid radiation damage. Does anyone know where to find them so I can wow my students?

There's something off about this DNA sculpture in the local NHS research hospital but I can't quite put my right hand on it.

Plus from having six Americans 'round for a braai: Great craic, and a lovely afternoon.
Minus from same: Why do I have so much booze left? Is this an attempt to drown me by overcatering?

My better third and I just made a baked ham which we preboiled in bochet (French black, spiced mead) and it was delicious.

I mention this because I was surprised by how little the bochet really affected things. It provided a nice, lightly spiced crust, but no more. #chemistswhocook

A question for #chemsky out there my new lines are running at a higher pressure than I'm used to, and whilst this had advantages, my old knackered plastic Keck clips aren't cutting it. Any recs (pro/against) for metal Keck-type clips and where to get them?

Gripe du jour: People who write "Compound X was prepared through a slight modification of the literature method.[ref]" and then cite the reference but don't ever explain the modification should suffer sanctions. Loss of O2 privileges for a week seems fair.

When shopping today, the lass at the checkout was young enough that she needed supervisor approval to sell us the beer we wanted.

And that's when I got to see the dawning realisation on my better third's face that her Nectar card was older than the checkout operator.
