Excellent piece, @cathalmccauley.bsky.social, and thank you for signposting our recent report on Resisting Hate and Navigating Agitation - our findings also troubled us, and these recent developments are extremely distressing. You are correct - this is a truly global issue that affects us all.
I’m generally pleased when something I write comes out but it’s very sad that I had to write this and the Trump administration’s attacks on libraries have intensified since I submitted it.
