So sad at 😢 appalling plastic pollution at lovely Camber Sands. Thanks to all those volunteers.
Millions of black plastic pellets, toxic to marine and terrestrial life, that volunteers are spending days raking, but with no chance of removing all...
Southern Water seems the main suspect but is also the investigator 🥸 and claims that "there is no impact to environmental water quality"...

Is Farage a poor judge of character or does he deliberately choose to mix with fraudsters as well as with Russian agents?
A criminal court in Brussels on Wednesday convicted two Polish nationals – including a current European Parliament assistant – of misusing EU funds tied to political entities associated with Brexit-backer Nigel Farage.

The #British Library is an essential part of maintaining #British culture and heritage. It is in the heart of London and its workers need a pay increase not a pay cut.
Solidarity with @pcsunion.bsky.social workers at the British Library.

300 workers on strike. Some of them having to take second jobs or taking out loans just to be able to survive.

A Pay "award" below inflation is a pay cut. Unacceptable.

Solidarity - and keep organising! ✊🏼

This is no way to treat our veterans Prime Minister.

It’s now over a month since PM agreed on BBCBreakfast to meet with the nuclear test veterans (having kept them waiting more than a year to discuss the justice & compensation Labour committed to in opposition) & still no date offered by his office
These national heroes have now waited more than a year for a meeting with Keir Starmer to discuss the justice & compensation Labour committed to in opposition. They are now in their eighties and are dying waiting for justice. This is no way to treat veterans Prime Minister

This will impact EVERYONE.

Combined with other anti-protest measures proposed like bans on face coverings, the Crime & Policing Bill will see the right to protest in the UK stripped to the bone.

Protest is fundamental to democracy. We must protect it.

I really just can't believe that this boy Finch is a council leader. Pity poor Warwickshire if this is the best that the ruling group can find to lead them.
Local Refuk Finch, Warwickshire Council leader, detached from reality, rants about government-funded cycling roads like a sulky teen denied pocket money. A Green councillor had the sense to tell the pompous fool where to shove his idiotic speech.
