I think it's pretty simple then. If the Republicans don't keep their word, all 8 should resign immediately.

I’ve just realized a flaw for time machines is that we don’t know what calendars they have in the future. How can we account for daylight savings rules, new popes adopting calendars, Thermidorian reactions, etc? Surely in 802701 we won’t have months called February and November.
