The longest lasting and best changes we have made have not been incrmental. They've been dramatic and immediate: Social Security. The ACA. Civil Rights. The fight takes a while, but it's the stroke of a pen that makes the legislation. Demand. Change. Now. And not little bits of it. All of it.
Incrementalism doesn’t work. I used to be an advocate for it. That was wrong. We can’t chip away at the rot in hopes of laying the ground work for big change later. We have to go in blasting now.
