There was a Hands Off! protest in Corning, New York today, Saturday, April 5, 2025. An estimated 500 to 700 people showed up, in spite of gray skies and the threat of heavy rain. We are delighted with our community’s enthusiasm for justice, and resistance against corruption and oligarchy.

Congressman Nick Langworthy (R-NY23) voted on the Big Ugly Bill as we knew he would. With his traitorous Yes vote and after 38 hours with no sleep, I left his graveyard and went home—to fight another day, as they say. On this 4th of July, I consider my oath of long ago.
