Funny story. I actually did download UE5 and started watching some tutorials on how to make a game, and a video I watched about how to make fog used this exact asset (first picture) from the UE5 asset store. But this didn't change my opinion on the game. In fact, I think I'm more inspired.
Tried the #BleakHaven demo in #NextFest, and I am loving the vibe of this game. Can't believe this was made by 1 guy. Makes me want to develop my own game.

People say instead of remastering great games, remaster mediocre games that fell short of their potential. I think Saw on X360 is a good candidate. Looks great but runs poorly. Interesting story but clunky combat & repetitive puzzles. Still a good time tho #justbeatit @polykillpodcast.bsky.social

The rave reviews had me thinking Blue Prince was going to blow my mind. But it wasn’t as overt as that. Instead it kinda slowly creeps into your brain each time you discover something. I #justbeatit on Day 29 but I’m far from done. Still so many things left unanswered. @polykillpodcast.bsky.social

Calling this a beat. I escaped the Dreampools & Eternal Suburbia in Dreamcore. A collection of eerie and truly labyrinthian backrooms style liminal spaces. No monsters or puzzles, just the experience of seeing how deep the rabbit hole goes. A vibe game.

Last night I beat Layers of Fear 2023 which is a mashup of a remastered LoF1 and LoF2. Graphics are stunning. LoF1 is decent. LoF2 was a nonsensical mess. Best part is when Trav and I started singing all the notes like Linkin Park lyrics. We skipped the DLC.
