When we keep missing our global emission targets, why do we put so much effort into defining them? Isn't that a very wasteful exercise. Shouldn't we instead focus on short term goals and really focus on them, just to make sure we can make any change at all and then move on to bigger things? Anyone?

I find it ironic—or maybe fitting—that a key element is to lock everyone in a room and not let them out until they have a plan! Even more ironic is the expectation that things will then go according to that plan. If ever there was an oversimplification of planning, this must be it.

Some weeks life feels like a race with no finish line. Even though the work week is over and my health app has given me a high five, I still feel like I'm in the race. Perhaps it's more the memory of the race, because I feel calm but it's still ringing in my ears.

Got myself a new phone awhile ago and it was a switch from iOS to Android. Even though there was some migration tool available I decided on a fresh start and it really felt good. I only now decided to install a social media application and this is the one. It doesn't seem to want to rip my soul out!
