Any art directors out there?

Oh hey I'm drawing again. I was checking a book on WWII nose art, and I just had to sketch one of them. No doubt based on a well circulated pinup girl of the era, but I've yet to find her. And there must've been like half a dozen planes named Shoo Shoo Baby... it's a catchy tune.

I was watching the 1968 Dean Martin Christmas Show, and I couldn't help thinking that in today's aggressively smoothed out media landscape, none of the stars featured in it would be allowed to be famous purely because of their faces. Maybe Dom DeLuise. Maybe.
