Not even lip service to the climate impact of this decision either from the Govt or from RTÉ - cheerleaders for Ireland’s billionaire polluters. Shameful.
Legislation to remove the passenger cap at Dublin Airport will be discussed at Cabinet. The cap was introduced as a planning condition when T2 was granted planning permission in 2007. That year 23 million passengers used the airport, numbers have grown strongly since and exceeded the 32 million cap

Kind of unbelievably, this morning as we launched a Dáil motion on congestion on our roads & the need for flexible working, my colleague @markwalltd was late for the debate as he was stuck in traffic. He had left Athy at 6.30am and wasn’t able to make it on time for a 10am start. Absolute madness🤯

This is fun and lovely, but we can’t rely on possible future tech like air cleaning (C02 capturing) machines to think we’ll be able to save our planet.

We need to take bigger and more radical steps right now to reduce our emissions!
This panel captures the hopes and fears of the biggest changes in how we live our lives by 2050 as suggested at Stripe Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition. Hopefully only some of these come true! ⚽
