THIS. It is so frustrating to hear people complain about long waits being the problem of universal healthcare. We have long waits followed by life-altering bills.
My doctor just referred me to a specialist.
The next available appointment they have is in July.
So, when people tell you that universal healthcare is bad because you have terrible waits for doctors and procedures? This is what insurance that costs $18,000/year and has a $3,500 deductible gets.
