Been just going through the motions lately. Writing and revisions aren't going as well as I hoped this year. Work grating more than usual. Stressors adding up.
Wonder what could be going on day to day that's been making life feel like a slog right now. Impossible to say.

Yeah, I think this is only going to make things worse. He's going to become a martyr. They don't care about gun violence and this won't change that, but they will use this to bolster their fascism and hateful narratives. Not looking forward to what's to come.

Not writing related but I did win a game in net tonight in my summer hockey league. I've only been playing goaltender a little over a year now and the wins have been hard to come by. Felt really good!

I've been reading a lot more lately, one of the most recent books I finished was "This Will Be Fun" by E.B. Asher and I really recommend it. If you've ever been interested in the DnD campaign after the campaign, this is a read for you.

Finished @rebeccathorne.bsky.sociaAl's "Tea You At the Altar" this weekend, what a lovely book. I will say more than any other cozy fantasy the plot on this one took my by surprise in a wonderful way. I continue to recommend and be inspired by this series, if you like the genre please check them out

Haven't been writing much this week as I've been handling home improvement, which is not nearly as fun. Finalizing the plans for a new roof tomorrow, so hopefully after that i should be able to get back to the grind finally. Assuming life doesn't throw more curveballs
