Increase in productivity since 1979: 87%

Increase in hourly pay since 1979: 32%

Just so happens that ~25% of workers were unionized in 1979. Today? 10%.

As unions declined, the super-rich have taken a larger share of wealth generated by labor. We must build back union power.

A new study found that Paxlovid (nirmatrelvir-ritonavir) helps lower the risk of Long COVID in adults over 50, but not in adolescents.
It’s a reminder that what works for adults may not work for children—and we still need ways to prevent Long COVID in kids.

🚨La conclusion est claire :
Le COVID cause des lésions cérébrales.

Et pourtant, nous continuons à réinfecter toute la population,
sans stratégie,
sans frein, sans même reconnaître le problème.

You know it's bad when you ban the word "ban" and censor "censorship"...

"New guidelines issued by the Hawaiʻi State Public Library System ahead of the 41st annual event prohibit the use of the words “censorship” and “banned,” in displays at 51 public libraries across the state."

NYT "Long Covid Risk for Children Doubles After a Second Infection"

This is absolutely devastating. Pediatric Long Covid is SO overlooked. Please don't let your child suffer, take them to Infectious disease dept of the closest Children's hospital. There are ways to help with their symptoms.

My representative!

PATEL: I'm sorry. Dylan Roof? Can you give me more information?

That's how much I disagree with Charlie Kirk.
I want him to be ok, and I wish it never happened... when if the same had happened to me, he'd be all like "2nd amendment, you know," BS.
Strict gun control is more than ever the answer.

Telogen effluvium (hair loss) at day 5 of infection turned out to be my first long covid symptom. Still going on 3 years later. Thankfully, I had a lot of hair to start with.
But it is the only one of the 30-something symptoms - most of them life-changing - that I have/had.
Covid is no joke
