I wonder if "millenial gray" is always a style choice or just a side effect of sky-high housing prices.
Houses are usually repainted and redecorated with very little color. It's a sales tactic.
Then people buy houses and don't have money left over to redecorate so they learn to live with it?

Remember when Halloween was way better and you didn't have to drive to a rich neighborhood just to find anyone trick-or-treating?
There weren't even that many kids in my neighborhood, but every house was ready with candy. You could just walk outside and go door to door.
