I know the whole point of newspeak in 1984 is that limiting language also limits people's ability to express themselves and all that, and yet, "double plus ungood" really means something to me that I don't know how to express otherwise.

That's a bit of an exaggeration. I can still see generally, but swaths of my vision turn to TV static. I can barely see well enough to type this. I definitely can't see well enough to read a book.

I'm very glad that my ocular migraines do not come with the excruciating pain typical of migraines, but boy are they annoying. Like my brain just decides to spaz out and now I can't see for the next 15-30 minutes
