I don't know what I abhor more, fireworks, the utter cunts that set them off for hours upon hours for weeks, or the shops that sell them to members of the public!

Doing some of the post game stuff now and I need to say, I really enjoyed the new #Pokemon game. The battle system needs refined but I liked the changes. There doesn't seem to be a meta online yet, so it's fun seeing different Pokémon being used #Gaming #NintendoSwitch #PokemonLegendsZA

Four years ago my mum signed her DNR form, because of COVID restrictions I couldn't be there. She called afterwards thinking the nurses must think she was going to die soon, and that she didn't want to die alone in the hospital. She held until January and died in her own home. I miss her everyday.

#Hades2 is so good. The music, especially during the second boss fight, is incredible!
Still think #Expedition33 shades it for my GOTY but it's tight. This year has been pretty stacked already, and #MetroidPrime4 hasn't even come out yet!

#Silksong reminds me so much of Dark Souls 2, in that the developers took all the wrong lessons from the first game and made them worse. Mob rooms, off screen projectiles, and frustrating runbacks galore.
They focused on making it artificially hard and not enough making it challenging...or fun!

As someone that doesn't feel any sense of accomplishment, I need to realise that "hard" games aren't for me. When I beat a tough boss or area, I don't think “good for me” or “well done”, I just move onto the next thing. It's not fun.

"Git Gud" has ruined any possible discourse over hard games.
I'm enjoying #Silksong, to an extent, but the early game is a slog. Enemies are far too tanky, do far too much damage and everything costs money which you lose when you die so you can't even save your progress at times.

It has been 4 years since my mum first went to the hospital, I still remember every single detail of that night. Not being allowed in the waiting room with her, helplessly trying to call different wards to find out where she was and finally going home at 5 am when a nurse told me to get some sleep

#Silksong is great but it's taking a lot to get used to the angled pogo. I'm sure I'll get better but Hunters March really throws you to the wolves very early!
