The fact that a ‘high-action, bolt-powered’ rifle was used at a distance tells us this probably wasn’t a liberal-leaning person. Using that type of weapon successfully from that range doesn’t fit the profile.

Agree. That battle ended in 2016. The war is to save our Democracy and every day Trump and co remain in power is a day lost. They need to go now not in 3 more years.
The battle of our day is no longer about Democrats versus Republicans or left versus right.
The choice right now is democracy or dictatorship. And we're sliding faster than I ever thought possible into the latter.
