That’s a lot of hard work. Take pride in that accomplishment. I want you to have a future as well.

This is the kind of language that should been used with evangelicals for years. Everyone free to worship, every sacred space safe, every time the faith leader talks politics instead of faith called out.

It is very nice, thank you for sharing.

My thoughts exactly. There are some low level guys who fire those missiles who will be asked EXACTLY what their orders were after this. And murder doesn’t have a statute of limitations for prosecution, it could be a long time from now.

Good job!

Thank you for this post, it gives a clear voice to something I’ve had trouble trying to express for sometime.

I love this, it’s the Indian version of Alice’s Restaurant. It never fails to be both humorous and remind me how much people on the other side of the world are just like me.

I’ve always wanted a roomba just to paint it and name it 1812.

He looks like incel Pittbull in this photo.

We’ve made an assumption that this was political.

What if it was just weird? Like the guy who shot Reagan to impress Jodie Foster?

Thus ends any empathy I felt for her and what’s his face.

I’ll not say his name again if possible the same way I won’t say hers.

He was an awful person. The world is better without him.

There were two children shot in a school yesterday. That should be why we lower the flag.

As I cannot celebrate his life, I cannot celebrate his death.

But he really deserves just as much attention as the 300+ people killed by gun violence this year that we hear almost nothing about.

Let him pass from memory.

My son and I were down in the basement dealing with homeowner issues. His hands are so unmarked by life as of yet. I wonder if I should be glad that I’ve been able to provide a life so kind or guilty that he has no callus to face the world with?

I watched that film so many times just for the scene where the pool collapses.

Remember the Titans. It’s supposed to be a getting over racism film, what I took away from it was the destructive nature of the sport on children.

I decided that if it’s a choice between an afterlife with a god that would allow these things and annihilation, I choose annihilation.

I feel the same about macchiato. Which often (let’s be clear, almost always) gets turned into a latte because the barista would be embarrassed handing you a cup with so little in it. I love when they hand me the cup and it’s light.

I wonder what happens to all of the cultists when he is gone?

Does the whole movement implode? Do they move on to the next person who tells them being awful is ok?

Which is worse? Someone who BELIEVES in him, or someone going along to be their worst self?

Saw an exhibit by Tony Cokes in the Boston MFA last week (Untitled), that was a slide show featuring text from Mark Fisher’s-The Resistable Demise of Michael Jackson- really good. So much of MJ’s life was twisted and packaged for everyone but him, I wish we’d let him be just a person.

I can’t stress this enough. Seeing a Van Gogh in person is TOTALLY different thank as an image. The depth of the paint (not the color, he really loaded the brush) creates subtle shadows that make the subject’s “ness” so much more.
