There’s no doubt that #Trump deserves some credit for the ceasefire but this circus being broadcast live is tasteless- it’s akin to a high school sports teams victory party rather than understanding how and why over 100,000 mainly innocent civilians are dead.

With #Sarkozy being sentenced to 5 years imprisonment, what would have become of Boris Johnson, Matt Hancock and others if they had been running France during the pandemic? And yet here, crickets.

The UK needs onshore wind power to help achieve @energygovuk net-zero targets. The @DefenceHQ is a major landowner here in Surrey with several large commons, such as Bramshott and Hankley, that have access roads and other infrastructure - can such land be utilised for renewables?

Social housing is key to economic growth but the manner of its procurement is key. Too much onus on private sector developers is holding completions back, holding the economy back. Councils need to be allowed to borrow to build social housing at scale and to retain ownership.

The Paris Agreement is failing and even the UK is failing to meet the Sustainable Development Goals so is the UN’s 2030 Agenda dead in the water? With Trump about to take power it certainly looks that way, so what’s next?
