I’ve gotten pretty into tea in the past few years. I love a gunpowder green, Yorkshire tea, and chai is a new thing for me—oat milk made that possible.

I had to take the subway—I had a cigarette on the underground platform—to the record store to buy the “Lithium” cassingle, because it had the lyrics to the whole Nevermind album in the liner notes, and I transcribed them onto paper for a couple of kids. I was the coolest of my peer group for a week.

Apparently baking is a stress response unlocked in my Ancient Reptilian Brain. I made pizza dough Friday (nice and quick so I’m not rushing around before D&D). I made the remnant dough into burger baps*, which were serviceable, and for dessert, chocolate chip cookies with brown butter.

There was a meme about small celebrity interactions that I cannot find, and cannot find, but I remembered one: I had a short email conversation with Kumail Nanjiani and Emily V. Gordon years ago when they had a podcast on Destructoid. Cannot recall the circumstances, but they were SUPER gracious.
