I have to say: Chuck Schumer is a weak man and a fool. This was the one cudgel Dems had. Now it's up to the courts which we new from the beginning were at best going to slow some things down. There's 18 hours left to somehow bring additional pressure to bear. It will be really hard to do that.

KEEP CALLING. PEEL OFF ALL DEM SENATORS YOU CAN.

☎️: (202) 224-3121

Tell them to vote NO on Cloture and NO on CR. Vote is pushed to after 1:15ish for now. Situation is fluid.

The only public YES votes are Schumer and Fetterman. They need 7-8 total. KEEP CALLING.

Call retiring Senators too!

I think some in the Senate have convinced themselves that the backlash to folding will be limited to “the left” and therefore ignorable.

Those people are deeply and profoundly misreading the moment and the stakes.

Virtually every swing district House Dem walked the plank to vote NO for a reason.

Schumer appears to be speaking only for himself, yet his words provide cover for others who are unwilling to take a stand. In our hour of need, they seem to have abandoned us—surrendering their leverage without cause and failing to utilize even the limited power they hold.

DONT BELIEVE IT: Okay moments like this it’s totally fog of war. Not only ‘you don’t know what they really think’ but ‘THEY may not know what they really think’. But I’m picking up enough to tell me that this statement from Schumer may not be on the level.

Dems across the country can stop this in its tracks. but they've only got about 48 hrs to do it. I explain how below.
What Mike Johnson is calling a "clean CR", i.e., funding bill, is really an Elon licensing deal, free 6 months to keep up his wilding spree which has already gutted the VA, slashd social security, cancer cure research and more. Johnson needs Ds help to pass it. talkingpointsmemo.com/edblog/will-...

senate Dems need to get on board with the House Dems and be willing to shut the government down without a separation of powers agreement at the very least.
