Restoring conservation grazing to Mill Hill LNR is making a big difference. More to do to knock the site back into its former chalk grassland glory but well done the Hetdwicks (and @southdownsnp.bsky.social and the grazier!)

Shocking 'disappearance' of not one but three White-tailed Eagles, including a Sussex-born chick.
Illegal persecution still happening.

We are battling a major pollution incident at our Rye Harbour reserve. Huge nos. of tiny plastic bio-beads have spilled onto the saltmarsh.

Has anyone got experience of dealing with this type of pollution or know the potential impacts? Thanks!

A beautiful day at Rye Harbour. Sadly having to spend time on our response to the dreadful #biobead pollution incident. Tragically 100,000s or even millions have spilled out across the saltmarsh. As yet the impacts on wildlife are unclear

Disastrous news as the #SouthernWater bio-beads reach our Rye Harbour Nature Reserve.

This is a fast moving situation but we are extremely grateful to all the volunteers and organisations helping with the clean up - thank you!
