The world needs more empathy and critical thinking. I see so many people slogging it out online like it's us vs them.
One side is x, the other is y. Seems like kids in the playground but on a mass scale, only cowering behind their browser / apps.
What happened to respectful debate and facts?

After surviving the end of year celebrations at the in-laws, I was inspired to write up a somewhat tongue in cheek blog on some of the common dysfunctions.

If you are giving a talk and calling others out for being wrong or not doing their homework... and you don't even try to talk to them to verify your own claims - you sir are a dick!

One observation as part of making the move back home is just Joe many expenses and subscripts you have that you don't fully realise.
My new guilty pleasure is unsubscribing. The Dopamine hit I need right now!
Excited to head back to Australia to live for the first time in 15 years.

what in the actual heck, was reading a job spec on LinkedIn and saw the following... are they seriously making it easy to add the job skills to your own profile. just shows how pointless this data is unless real humans validate it, even then it is often gamed.

trying to migrate my Medium blog over to Substack isn't as easy as one would hope, seems I need to export an archive, then import into Wordpress, then export Wordpress and then import into Substack. If you import from Medium they cap how many articles you can import to Substack (limit of 10)
