Special Christmas episode recorded and set to go live on 12/21! The crew is chopping up Fabrice Ange-Zaphiratos's 1983 supernatural horror flick, "Blood Beat." Director Fabrice-Ange Zaphiratos doing Panos Cosmatos type shit decades before he came along. Weirdo cult flick stuff at its finest.

Quick update: Saw the new "Silent Night, Deadly Night" in theaters this wknd. Pu-pu platter. An abomination and doesn't deserve to carry the name of the original Charles E. Sellier, Jr. film. Will have to revisit and compare/contrast to the original in a future CIU ep.

Ck out our Halloween horror special, where we chop up a cult classic, "Hack-o-Lantern" (1988)! A Satan-worshipping grandpa corrupts his grandson as a mother tries to keep her family together. Schlock horror w/ a Giallo-style twist. Hy Pyke w/ an insane performance. THE POWER IS THE BLOOD!

Anyway props to NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD for just flat saying "in times of crisis your supposed protectors reveal themselves as the racist lynch mobs they always were" 57 years ago

Spooky season is upon us! Highly suggest checking out the 1988 cheese-classic Halloween horror flick, "Hack-o-Lantern." Hy Pyke gives a performance for the ages as a Satan-worshipping grandpa set on corrupting his grandson. So much nonsense: gratuitous nudity, non sequitars, & overacting galore.

Just watched first ep of the horror series "Marianne" on Netflix. Holy jeezus. Terrifying and unsettling. This is compelling horror with a deft touch by someone who knows how to do horror right. Only one jump scare in the first ep and still had me on the edge of my seat. Worth a watch for sure.

New ep alert! Check us out as we chop up Wes Craven’s classic, “The Hills Have Eyes,” along with Alexandre Aja’s remake by the same name. Gruesome and provocative, both films deserve a proper dissection. Available on all streaming services!

Ushering in summer proper w/ Spielberg's classic, "Jaws," and pairing that w/ Joe Dante's 1978 ripoff, "Piranha." The latter is so much fun, just vintage schlock horror. The latter is an all-time great flick.

Join us for our first summer creature feature. Jump in: the water is perfect!

John Carpenter's Prince of Darkness: an ensemble piece that's an excellent exercise in atmosphere & tension. It features a wonderful score from Carpenter & Alan Howarth as well as a cameo from Alice Cooper, credited as ‘Street Schizo’. Don't let him park your bicycle! Good stuff.
