Integrating the banger article quoted below and all the cogent commentary into a new intro on the “No genAI” statement I attach to all my work.
“There was no generative Al used at any stage of this project, including concept and ideation stages. People who use genAl are cheap, creatively stagnant weirdos and even in "rough draft, just brainstorming concepts" stages it looks and reads like shit. As a disabled working artist who depends on my creative work to support myself in all material ways, I am staunchly opposed to the environmental and existential threats that generative Al poses at its current scale of unchecked growth, its untrammeled contributions to misinformation, and the erosion of quality creative work, labor rights, and critical thinking that it has proven to be.”
