I can't help but be sympathetic for Woltemade - guy's had a good start but has looked like he's played too much recently, and the own goal was one of those unfortunate things that happens. More of an issue is why our wingers never looked in sync with him at the other end #nufc

Were it not for the own goal, that would've finished 0-0. But at some point, we're going to have to ask more probing questions of ourselves about why we're so passive in away games, why we have 0 points from losing positions in PL games so far and whether we need a major tactical reset #nufc

I was expecting whopping ticket prices for the World Cup next summer but oh Lord FIFA have truly gone off the deep end with the figures doing the rounds

Norris did brilliantly to come back from the engine-based DNF at Zandvoort and to put in some excellent wins in the last quarter of this F1 season, but Piastri went from 100+ points above Max to finishing behind the Red Bull driver. Ouch #AbuDhabiGP

Hmmmm... 7 points in a week isn't bad and good to get a win over the line, but it would've been nice to push on when 2-0 up against 10 men for the entire second half #nufc

The #AbuDhabiGP will be interesting in many respects given that a lot could well depend on how confident we are in McLaren being flawless. This trophy is Lando's to lose - a podium finish and there's nothing Max or Oscar can do, but after Vegas and Qatar, can anything be guaranteed?

This feels must win for #nufc, no? It's all well and good that the basic numbers suggest we have a good thing about what the team is trying to achieve, but at some point, we have to stop dropping points from winning positions

If anything could dim the excitement for next year's FIFA World Cup, it might well be the strange partnership of obsequiousness to certain individuals, overcomplicated procedures and overall tediousness of the World Cup draw. Really is a ceremony that could've been an e-mail

McLaren have had a shocker at the #LasVegasGP to get the skid block stuff wrong, no?
November 23, 2025 at 8:49 PM
Hamilton has had a difficult first year at Ferrari even before today but #LasVegasGP qualifying sounds like a new low. Ooft

Anyone else with an Android phone feel like the AI features Google are heavily plugging don't really add anything?
November 22, 2025 at 2:24 PM
After last weekend's #BrazilGP, and even after a sensational Verstappen drive, Norris is going to have do something spectacular to blow the title from here, no?
November 14, 2025 at 8:07 PM
Was the world really crying out for a lame Wikipedia copy almost certainly full of inaccuracies written using Grok AI?

I think that might be the most never-racking excitement I've ever seen from 3 people trying to guess how many Ts are in a portrait #Taskmaster

Well... at least the international break means #nufc can't bring my mood down for another weekend

It's not ideal when there is genuine competition between last week at West Ham or this Brentford match as to which #nufc display was worse
November 9, 2025 at 9:58 PM
Anyone else scratching their head at that? So many things went our way in the first 15 minutes and yet we proceeded to follow that up with such a half-arsed performance #nufc
November 2, 2025 at 9:14 PM
Given sprint races can often be anticlimactic, the #USGP one certainly delivered. Some truly chaotic driving in that one. Same again tomorrow?

Clearly Forest felt the conversation on Ange Postecoglu was over if they were going to sack him before everyone had even left the City Ground. Safe to say Marinakis has definitely got a lot wrong in the last 6 months and will now have to figure a way out of the hole he's dug for himself

What is it about Brighton away that routinely goes wrong for us? #nufc

I know it's easy to talk about the enshittification of these things but it felt like it was easier to watch concerts in YouTube in the past and it now insists on frequent ads mid-song. Chill ffs

To think some in the Italian media seem to be manifesting a situation where Tonali might go back to a Serie A club for less than what Newcastle paid Milan to sign him. As if #nufc
Our midfielder doesn't need goals or assists to get MOTM #nufc

Those ticket prices for the FIFA World Cup in America next year - woof. Cheapest ticket at $100+ but only a tiny quantity at the top of the stadium, dynamic pricing and where the ticket process seems subject to all manner of crypto things to make people pay more. It wasn't this bad before was it?
October 12, 2025 at 12:10 PM
From next season, the September and October international breaks are going to be consolidated into one large break. Don't know if that'll be better due to the momentum issue from having two so soon or that it'll drag given international qualifiers in UEFA just don't hit the same

I can't be the only one who, when they first heard of the new entry exit thing at EU airports or ports, thought the idea was you register before traveling, not when you get there. Surely that would be easier, no?
