Inspired by @galefrostbane.bsky.social , I thought I'd keep a travelogue while in Japan! I arrived yesterday and am taking the train for Tokyo soon. Chipper, did you sleep in the airport? Sort of: I slept at the on site capsule hotel! Now enjoying *checks notes* vegan ramen restaurant, T's TanTan!

My job takes me away from friends for about half the year. I'm back at work now, but this summer was life changing.

Anyone else like to just...*be* in fursuit during leisure time? Like coffee in the am or watching tv on an ordinary evening, but in [an approximation of] the right body? something about the *ordinariness* hits just right -- just being a wolf having a coffee, here in this body. It feels so right.

Difficult writing advice: if you're paralyzed by the fear that you'll write something bad, you'll write something worse than bad: you'll write something safe.
I'm not saying it's easy to manage writing fear, but if you want to write something meaningful, practice telling that fear to shove off.
