NIMBYs will use whatever power they can to stifle progress towards better communities. Electing urbanist candidates means their veto becomes a loose suggestion.

Thank you to everyone who came out to PARK(ing) Day on Saturday!

Whether it comes to safety, sustainability, cost of living, or just plain fun, our city deserves more than empty space for cars in our neighborhoods.
Of all the important and/or fun sustainable transpo-related events last weekend, PARK(ing) Day in 2 brewery parking lots, featuring advocacy tables and speakers like Rep. Buckner, was one of the best!

Every September, communities across the country celebrate Park(ing) Day by transforming ordinary parking spaces into temporary public places. At first glance, it can look like a one-day street festival.
