Today I got to go deeper into the Transformers experience and start defining clear narrative beats per room.

Also got approval for another project outside of the "Hasbro" umbrella, that's also exciting.

And we've refined a project pitch for a less geeky, but no less fun Hasbro IP.

A good day!

It's done. Took me 13 months and 2 weeks.

I read all 42 Discworld novels by Terry Pratchett.

I need to digest the last one, The Sheperd's Crown, published after the author's death.

It was a journey through a creative career, one that humbles me.

Much to think about.

Absolutely the only one, ever.

Took off for my b'day and my adult children are coming over for dinner and that makes me so happy! :)

Thank you so much to my dear friend, I have nothing but love for you!

And I can't believe that my TTRPG legacy as a player is that Dread game by @twolemonades.com. I will never forget it.
Happy birthday to my friend and world's worst Dread player @chattydm.bsky.social

Just one Discworld novel left to read: The Sheppard's Crown, the original reason why I embarked on this homage reading marathon of the series. I wanted to read Pratchett through my older, more experienced eyes as a writer and share his own creative journey.

I do. It lived amazing adventures and has become a table legend.

It (or they!) shall unlive again!

And this is my homebrew version, I don't know if all y'alls ever did something with it after I told you I wasn't going to write a publishable version of it back then.

12 years and a pandemic later, I got better at the "write adventures thing" ;)

I also want to tap into the "Sequel" trope and either have "a fully operational" second one being constructed in secret or a whole fleet of them pop out of the realm of the Lich King.

Anyhoo, it's going to start raining skellies again!

Rob! Both?

I don't know how much you remember from it but the original party of heroes shot it down with a set of Spears from the Archmage and it lies sideways in a crater in the no man lands betweeen the Crusader, the Elf Queen, and the Dwarf King lands.

So this remains an adventure site.

Today I got to draw Energon tanks on a whiteboard and discuss how Charlie from "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" conspiracy meme could be an inspiration for [redacted].

My writing brain: You need to put "should" or "would" in there.

Fingers: Whould!

It's the only thing that counts since you're the one who'll be holding the controller. ;)

We bought a PS2 when my eldest was born and it was our cocooning platform. (DVD and console).

Quand les chiffres augmentent la charge mentale pour le MJ au point de tasser les autres éléments qui rendent le jeu unique et plaisant, on doit se poser des questions et considérer créer des outils pour faciliter les choses for sure.

Could you expand on this? As in, remain cognizant of what it requires to run this game?
January 6, 2026 at 2:19 PM
I plan too!

A year ago I challenged myself to read all 42 Discworld novels by Terry Pratchett by year's end. Well I made it to 42% of book 41. I will call it a win and finish "Raising Steam" and "The Sheppard's Crown" before tackling something else. :)

Happy new year, everyone.
